Nothing real exciting from here

I don't really have any earth-shaking news or anything exciting to post today, but I am thankful for a very restful last couple of days.  I have been battling a sinus infection and have felt pretty miserable for about the last week and I was so thankful to have Friday off from work.  I rested on Friday and did not even go outside the house all day.  Friday night I had the privilege of having my entire family at my house!  We ate some Lancaster's barbecue (YUM!) and had some strawberry shortcake and it was delicious!  I love having my whole family together --it's always alot of fun!

Today I did not do very much either --just tried to take it easy and get some more rest. I did watch the Belmont Stakes and was so disappointed that Big Brown was not a Triple Crown winner! The last time we had one was  the year that I got married -- 1978!

I am looking forward to a wonderful day in the Lord's house tomorrow and can hardly wait to hear what He has to say to me!

I so love your enthusiam to go to God's house with a willing heart.

The only time my family gets together is at the holidays and then usually my brother doesn't get to come and my mom and dad aren't married anymore so it doesn't really feel complete anymore. It always feels like something is missing. But that's okay, I still like getting together w/my fam. Thank you for this post. I love hearing about the things people do with their fam's.

It was so great to be in the Lord's house today! I love seeing you and your sweet family! You know I love seeing that mess of a Emma Boo too! Glad you got to rest too. I had strep and it is NOT fun to be sick. Rest always helps! :)
Have a good week!!

Boy, it was such a good morning in church...the worship, the sermon, having my family there...it was a wonderful day!
Love you and I'm glad you are starting to feel better. Make sure you still take it easy so you can recover fully.
