I have only been blogging for a few weeks now, but I realized that I have one family member that has somehow been majorly overlooked on my blog. I realized that his feelings have probably been hurt by the fact that this "new kitty on the block" has been featured multiple times on my blog -- even though HE has been in the family almost 8 years longer than this feline named Lewis!
I am talking about none other than the best friend a "man" (or woman) could have --CHAMP! Champ is our Boxer who will be 8 years old in October. We picked him out of a litter when he was about 5 weeks old. Here he is in Grace's arms on the night we picked him.
I had always heard people say "If you ever have a Boxer, you'll never have any other kind of dog" and now I certainly understand what they were talking about. He is wonderful with my grandkids. He lets them pull on him, sit on him, etc.
He sleeps all night EVERY night right beside my bed! He absolutely LOVES his bed. There have been times when he's so "comfy" that his snoring has kept ME awake!
He is so sweet that he even gladly shares his bed with this bossy little Ragdoll kitten that just moved in a few weeks ago!
He's a 63 pound LAP DOG!
That LOVES to play Frisbee and
"chew" on the leaf blower -- with it running!
Champ, you're the best bud a family could ever have and we love you very much!

That was the sweetest post! It almost made me cry! I know how much love you can have for a dog. I love the picture of him and Lewis.
We have been considering getting a dog and a boxer has been at the top of our list. Your sweet post and adorable pictures confirmed that I really, really want a boxer!
Champ is the neatest!!!!! I love the picture of him in the car sitting up so tall and proud! Was he buckled in?! :)
That is so cute!!! I tagged you for something fun on my blog!
We love dogs around here. Champ is so cute and you can tell he is a beloved family dog! Dogs help make life sweet!
What a handsome Champer-doodle!! He is such a good boy....I wish Mason could learn a thing or two from him =)
SO sweet! We have two precious dogs who have yet to be featured on my blog either, so you may have inspired a post!!!
That is so cute!!! I love all the pictures of Champ, especially the ones where he is curled up in his bed....there is just something about dogs sleeping that I find adorable! Glad you introduced us all to Champ...I think he'll forgive you for the delay!
Champ is absolutely adorable! He is so sweet for sharing his bed with Lewis. OK two more things in common. I noticed you have an angel statue in your flower bed. Me too!! And I noticed on your Fathers Day blog, your walls were painted red and gold. Mine too!!! Girly, are you my long lost sister? Becky
