My daughter, Faith , and I drove to Atlanta yesterday for this awesome praise and worship service with Travis Cottrell! It was a live CD recording and it was so much fun!
The choir was incredible!
My hero in the faith, Beth Moore, brought some amazing words and challenged us to a deeper worship experience.
Cindy Morgan sang Praise The King and I could not help, but think about what it was going to be like in Heaven when we all get to sing this!
After the service I got to meet BooMama !
Then it was back to our hotel room to settle in for some "girl time" with some of our favorite snacks!
What an awesome experience and I am so glad that I was able to attend. Can't wait until the Live CD and DVD are available later this Summer. You have to get it when it comes out!
Can hardly wait for Deeper Still Conference in Greensboro in July to hear Travis Cottrell lead worship again!

I am SO with you on the boots and Jack Bauer! I have also been a fan since day one. I love hearing his voiceover on the Bank of America commercials. Thank you for sharing what must have been an awesome experience yesterday ....

I SO wanted to go to this and really felt bummed last night knowing it was going on without me - ha! I know it had to be amazing. Wow, you guys were close, weren't you? The pictures are great.
It was so nice to meet you, your daughter, and Jenna at the concert last evening! I left changed, and I'm sure you all did as well. So funny we ended up sitting next to each other-I guess Siestaville really is a small world. I love your pictures by the way-they are so much better than mine! Glad you made it home safe and sound.
Travis Cottrell is annointed when it comes to leading worship. I always enjoy him.
I love that you were able to meet several blog buddies! How much fun!

What a fun time you gals had! Oh, I would love to have gone to that. How neat that you got to meet Jenna and BooMama and BigMama. Kristen & I met BooMama at the airport in San Antonio back in Aug. after the Siesta Fiesta event. She's too funny!
I'm thankful y'all had such a great time of worship. I love Travis and can't wait until this cd/dvd comes out.
You know I love Beth Moore too! I'm sure she had great things to share.
That's so neat that you got to meet Kristen (Kiki)and sit right by her while in Atlanta.
I told her in a recent comment that my daughter, Kristen's cousin used to call her Kiki.
I thought that was cute!
I also wrote on my blog today that it's only 7:45 and I'm craving your chili dip. I'm home today b/c of the weather and I can tell I'm gonna be in the mood to munch!
It was an amazing time and I loved every second of it! So glad we got to go together and have such a great time with sweet friends, and the Lord.
Love you!!
I could have sworn I already commented on this post, but I guess I got so excited reading it the first time, I forgot! :-) It really was SUCH a fun weekend, and I am so glad I got to meet you and Faith!! It was the best, and I just love you both!

What an amazing opportunity! Sounds like y'all had a great time. Love those snacks!!
What a fun girly weekend! I can't wait til I get to meet some of my sweet bloggy friends in person!
Hi Mimi,
So good to hear from you! I feel like I have been on a spiritual "high" since coming back from the concert-I just can't get over it!
I'm not sure yet about Deeper Still this summer. I usually go home to West Virginia to visit my family in the summers (perk of working for a school board). I did get a ticket for Beth's Living Proof conference in Pittsburgh in June-that is much closer to where I will be! Have you been to Deeper Still before? I went in Nashville in Sept. 07-it was awesome!
I actually tried to save some of your pictures on my computer, and it worked-by right clicking on the picture, then hitting "save as". I will give you credit when I show them off!! If you have other ones of Beth, I would love for you to email them to me. The ones I took of her really did not turn out well. My email is kikivantromp@gmail.com.
I'm going to check out your recipes soon-I love trying new dishes!
Take care,
Kristin
What a fabulous girl's night! I would love to meet some blogging friends!
i bet you had such an awesome time! it's so nice to go some where, where everyone is worshiping and you can feel the spirit move! it's an amazing feeling!! praise the Lord we live in a free world where we can do that!
cute pics!
I've already commented on Jenna and Faith's blog that I am incredibly jealous of your girls weekend. You had everything perfect!!
Why go to the Deeper Still conference near you? You could register for the one in OKC!!! I bought my ticket yesterday!
okay! wow! it sounds like an awesome time! and meeting blogger friends is icing on the cake!...oh, and those snacks at the hotel...yummy too!
Hi Mimi! It's my first time here. I googled the new Travis Cottrell DVD and got you! I was there that Sunday night too, as FBC Woodstock is our home church. It really does seem smaller when you go there all the time! lol
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and say that you got some really great pictures. I was a dork and left my camera at home thinking they wouldn't want us taking pictures because of the recording. Duh. Now I wish I had it. :-/ But I enjoyed seeing your pictures!
Oh, and how 'bout that "Mercy Seat" song...unbelievable, wasn't it?? Wow.
